2010 Application Timeline:

February 25

• S.A.L.T. Program at Harrisburg Informational Session
• (Applications handed out, sign-up for tours of the Harrisburg facility, meet the director)

March 1-8

• Tours of the S.A.L.T House in Harrisburg are available
• All who are interested should contact Craig Dalen (x4785) to sign up for a tour

March 12

• Applications due to Craig Dalen at Campus Mail Box 4027
• You can apply for both Fall '10 & Spring '11

March 26

• Students are notified and S.A.L.T. House placements are set.

     **On campus housing sign ups begin during the 1st week of April

The S.A.L.T. House may be a great place for you to live if you are:

• committed to connecting to urban places, specifically Harrisburg

• committed to beginning to understand the political, economic, socio-cultural, religious and educational dynamics of urban places like Harrisburg.

• committed to regularly participating in community service

• passionate about exploring intentional living

A successful applicant will:

• Be a junior or senior (sophomores may apply in some circumstances)

• Complete the the S.A.L.T. program at Harrisburg application (essays should be ½ page type written)

• Be free from all chapel, disciplinary and academic probation

• Maintain at least a 2.5 GPA

• Be open to an interview with the Director if the need arises
