Serving And Living Together at the Harrisburg Institute

The Serving And Living Together (S.A.L.T) program at the Harrisburg Institute is located at 28 Dewberry St, one block away from Strawberry Square, 2nd Street, the Capitol Complex and other downtown amenities. The building has capacity for 25 socially-conscious and servant-minded students.

The S.A.L.T. Program also includes:

Exploration of Community Life with fellow residents

  • Regular community meals & potlucks

Exploration of Harrisburg city life

  • Active orientation to Harrisburg through film viewing, lectures, exhibits, performances, and various other city programs

Particpation in Community Engagement

  • Commitment to a community engagement activity in Harrisburg
  • Strong reccomendation to connect city engagement with major requirements
