Classes are canceled on April 17th to give students, faculty and staff an opportunity to serve together as an expression of our common commitment to service at Messiah College.

Special Olympics buddies

What can I do on Service Day?

 

  1. Special Olympics: This reginonal event is staffed by Messiah students and faculty. Over 1,000 volunteers are needed.
  2. Off-Campus Projects: Students and staff are also invited to take part in service through off-campus service projects offered through the Agape Center. Projects will be serving people in and around the Harrisburg area through community partnerships withlocal churches and non-profit organizations.

 

 

 

 

T-shirt & Training Info 2008

 

April 8th:

Special Olympics Student Buddy Training @ 6pm in Brubaker. Come pick up your buddy shirt and get details for the day.

 

April 9th:

Special Olympics Employee/Community Buddy Training @ 7pm in Frey 110. Come pick up your buddy shirt and get details for the day. Students may attend if unable to attend Tuesday's training.

 

April 10th:

Off-Campus Project t-shirt pick up @ 4:30-6:30 in Jordan 1st floor lounge. Stop by to get your t-shirt.

(Special Olympics buddies can come here if they can't make any training session)
