Fair Trade work at Messiah consists in monitoring Messiah College's coffee partnerships and encouraging fair trade coffees to be bought by the college and the Messiah community whenever possible. This subset of HRA also hopes to organize a student group to ensure that all Messiah College apparel sold in the Campus Store is "sweat-free", i.e. not made in sweatshops or produced with slave labor. This would be done in conjunction with United Students Against Sweatshop's Sweat-Free Campus Campaign.
