Spend your Spring Break or part of  summer with a team of Messiah College students serving in places like Northern Ireland, Dominican Republic, or Bolivia!  If you have a heart for service, a desire to learn from other people, and want to explore the integration of your faith and service and mission into all of your life, we would like you to consider joining one of our teams!

We are looking for people who are:

  • flexible
  • eager to learn from others
  • willing to step outside of their comfort zones
 This intense cross-cultural experience is designed to help you learn about yourself and your teammates as well as the culture and people of your host country. Our hope is to provide you with an opportunity to broaden your perspective of God and His work in the world.

Messiah College has a long history of service and mission around the world, and has been instrumental in equipping students to serve God’s kingdom wherever they find themselves after graduation—in graduate school, their vocation, the inner city, or another country. A service and mission experience can be an important part of your learning experience at Messiah.

 

Many people who are eager to join a team may be unaware of the level of commitment and responsibility that will be required to go on a trip. Before filling out the application, please carefully read the position descriptions below

to give you a better understanding of the expectations and requirements of team members. 

 

Deciding to participate in one of these trips should be a discernment process that begins with filling out this application. We ask that you prayerfully consider each step of the process just as we, here at the Agape Center, will be working to discern the appropriateness of your participation on one of our teams.
