Poverty and Development addresses larger, structural realities as they relate to poverty in the developing world. In the recent past, it has worked with the global food crisis, World Hunger Day, and issues of globalization.

Poverty and Development hopes to organize groups of HRA students to participate in Mobile Mission, a local service opportunity that helps to provide food to the hungry in Harrisburg. This will be done in conjunction with the Hunger and Homelessness Coordinator, through Outreach Teams in the Agape Center.
