Spring Break Team Missions Timeline

September

• Spring Break Team Information Night: Get more information on the trip and pick up an application.
  
  

October:

• Applications and recommendations due at Agape Center two weeks after information night.
• Interviews and team selection.
• Acceptance letters sent out.

November:

• Weekly team meetings begin (1-2 hours).
• Support-raising information night for all Spring Break and Summer Teams.
• Compile and submit a list of 75 names and addresses for support letters to your team leaders.
• Send out support-raising initial appeal letters.
• Apply for a passport.
• Solicit support from friends and relatives over Thanksgiving Break.

December:

• $100 deposit due to the Business Office.
• Continued weekly team meetings.
• Plan team fundraisers.
• Send out thank you notes to those who have supported your team.
• Solicit support from friends and relatives over Christmas Break.
• Have a Merry Christmas! Enjoy your break!

January:

• Continued weekly team meetings.
• Plan team fundraisers.
• Send out thank you notes to those who have supported your team.

February:

• Continued weekly team meetings.
• Team fundraisers.
• Send out thank you notes to those who have supported your team.

March:

• Final support goals met by March 1.
• Continued weekly team meetings.
• Take care of final details.
• Commissioning service in chapel.
• Send out thank you notes to those who have supported your team.

• Debriefing and re-entry half-day retreat at Messiah College.
