Service Trips transforming lives, loving our world, serving our God... The following are a few examples of past service trips: Center for Student Missions (CSM) — D.C., Chicago, Philadelphia, Toronto CSM focuses on working with ministry sites within the inner city. These sites include food banks, community centers, rescue missions, and nursing homes. Their desire is that students learn about the city and what it is really like, who lives there, the unique issues and problems that city dwellers face, and most importantly, what God is doing to foster and further His Kingdom in the city, through the churches, homeless shelters, neighborhood centers, and other organizations in the local area. City Team — Chester, PA City Team is a rescue mission ministry that provides shelter, addiction programs, feeding programs, relief to single parents with infants, and clothing ministries in the Chester and Philadelphia area. Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) — Eastern Kentucky CAP is a nonprofit, nondenominational service organization that operates in the Appalachian region of eastern Kentucky. CAP works with people at different levels of poverty and seeks to involve all the people of Appalachia in this cause, serving without discrimination. Fellowship House — Camden, NJ Fellowship House is an urban youth ministry which began in 1965. Habitat for Humanity — various locations This national organization builds houses for homeless individuals all over the country. They focus on involving the recipients of the house in the building, and showing God's love through providing physical needs. His Mansion — Deering, NH His Mansion opened its doors to troubled youth in 1972 following nine months of prayerful preparation. Students usually work on a specific project (i.e., gathering maple sap, painting, harvesting, land-clearing, etc.), and work along side the staff and residents to facilitate interaction. Inner City Impact (ICI) — Chicago Inner City impact gives groups the opportunity to serve within the inner city of Chicago. ICI is unique in that members of the full-time missionary staff live, attend church, and fellowship in the communities in which they work. Living in the community gives the staff a better understanding of the daily environment that children and their families face. Since 1972, ICI has continued its focus of building relationships with children and their families. World Impact(WI) — Newark, NJ WI is a Christian mission organization dedicated to ministering God's love in the inner cities of America. Its purpose is to honor and glorify God and delight in Him in the inner cities by knowing God and making Him known through evangelism, follow-up, discipleship, and planting culturally conductive churches.
