EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

On-Campus Opportunities

• Tutor Elementary and Middle School Students at Orchard Apartments or through Allison Hill Tutoring
• Serve as a positive role model for children in the Harrisburg area by forming a meaningful relationship with one through the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program.
• Volunteer with the after-school programs at Center for Champions or Bethesda Youth Center.

Post-Graduate Opportunities:

• Preschool teachers and nursery workers are needed to teach in a missionary kid school, itinerant teacher, or international school setting. Teachers should have at least two years of college and successful experience working with young children. (Wycliffe)
• Run or work at a church child care center
• Write age-appropriate curriculum for Sunday and nursery schools
• Offer free babysitting and child care classes for the community
