HUMANITIES:

On-Campus Opportunties:

• Tutor Elementary and Middle School Students at Orchard Apartments or through Allison Hill Tutoring
• Build relationships with students through tutoring in the after-school program at First United Methodist Church in Harrisburg
• Build relationships and accountability through small-group activities with women in a Christian halfway house by volunteering at Promise Place.

Post-Graduate Opportunities:

• Serve as student residence parents: substitute for children’s own parents who work in translation elsewhere. They maintain a home which may accommodate just a few children or as many as 15.
• Be a group house manager. A group house is a home away from home for Wycliffe members and visitors in another land.
• Bring culture to churches through book studies
• Bring in different artists to help church break out of the normal pattern
• Work with Mission Year
