Service-Learning Opportunities in...

RELIGION:

On-Campus Opportunties:

  • Take part in World Christian Fellowship to increase awareness of the worldwide body of believers and of the world's physical and spiritual needs and to be involved with missions in America and abroad.
  • Volunteer at a local church as a Sunday School teacher or assistant, or help out with Youth Fellowships and Adult Bible Studies.
  • Volunteer with Dokimoi Ergatai, a student campus group that applies their academic curriculum to service projects: Staff, Energy, Pump, Water for the World, and Tricycle

Post-Graduate Opportunities:

  • Be an educator in the church (basics of faith, spiritual disciplines, biblical basis for what we believe)
  • Teach about world religions and how to interact with them, their people and compare them with our faith
  • Teach methods of evangelism considering other world religions
  • Serve with Brethren in Christ World Missions (BICWM) in London, England, working with a vast Muslim community.
  • Work with Mission Year
