Mission
The Latino Partnership is an advisory group made of Latino leaders from the Harrisburg community, as well as administrators and faculty from Messiah College.
Program Goals
Raise awareness of the social needs affecting the Latino community in Harrisburg and through the College's willingness, serve as an educational resource to the community
Serve as a resource to students and faculty who are looking for service-learning or internships sites within the Latino community in Harrisburg
Serve as a link to departments who are interested in having their students meet practicum requirements in servicing Latino families, organizations and churches
Serve as a resource in empowering Latino community leaders to better provide supervision to our students
Collaborate with local partners to provide support and mentoring for students wishing to learn more about the Latino experience in an urban environment
