Welcome to the Gender Studies Project!

The Gender Studies Project exists to provide a centralized resource for meeting the gender-related needs of students, faculty, and staff, both within the Messiah College community as well as the larger society, through a variety of educational programs, culturally-diverse events, resource opportunities, and other support services. The Project also strives to ensure a world in which women and men can live and work together in a mutually respectful and supportive environment where equality, responsibility, and personal empowerment are encouraged and fostered. Following a feminist model of empowerment, the Project works toward fostering, recognizing, and affirming the abilities, accomplishments, and potential of all women and men.
