Into the Streets
Into the Streets is part of first-year orientation where students spend 4 hours serving with community partners. Through these opportunities, students are encouraged to reflect on their experiences to prepare for their journey of service, leadership, and reconciliation in Church and society.
Martin Luther King Jr. Community Engagement Day
MLK Day is held in memory of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The day includes a kickoff event at John Harris High School, service opportunities in various locations, and reflection with service groups from Messiah College.

Service Day is the largest community event in the area. On campus, the college hosts the Area M Special Olympics. Off campus, students and faculty join community partners during the day in service to the region.
