Ecological Biology Concentration at Messiah University

The ecological concentration of the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in biology focuses on the interactions of organisms and their environment and the tools to quantify those relationships. You’ll study everything from herpetology and aquatic zoology to plant ecology and ecological field techniques to examine life at the level of ecosystems. Courses, fieldwork both regionally and in other climate and environments, as well as faculty-mentored undergraduate research opportunities, provide diverse and direct hands-on experiences in ecological studies.
