  • Assist you in developing professional skills for the workplace and prepare you better for graduate school

What is an Internship?

  • Semester-long, supervised work experience related to your major or career goal
  • Open to Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors in the fall, spring, or summer
  • Part-time or full-time
  • Paid or unpaid
  • Primarily in an off-campus environment
  • Academic elements distinguish it from a short-term job or volunteer work:
    • intentional self-directed learning strategy
    • reflection - both verbal and written
    • emphasis on professional development


We work with a host of employers, as well as organizations such as the Chambers of Commerce. Though many are located in the Central Pennsylvania area, a multitude of opportunities are available nationwide and internationally.  A very small sample of the local employers are:
