Media Management and Research

The media management and research concentration of the media, culture and technology major focuses on the communication, leadership and business principles needed to be manager or researcher in a contemporary media setting. You gain classroom knowledge through courses in media studies, public relations, management and marketing, with a special emphasis on how all these theories apply to mass media. Then, you’ll take your theoretical knowledge and apply it in a required internship and required practicum at The Pulse, Messiah’s student-run multimedia hub.
