The media management and research concentration of the media, culture
and technology major focuses on the communication, leadership and business
principles needed to be manager or researcher in a contemporary media setting.
You gain classroom knowledge through courses in media studies, public
relations, management and marketing, with a special emphasis on how all these
theories apply to mass media. Then, you’ll take your theoretical knowledge and
apply it in a required internship and required practicum at The Pulse, Messiah’s
student-run multimedia hub.
