Cellular Biology Concentration

The cellular biology concentration within the biology major emphasizes the study of biomolecules, cellular processes, molecular genetics and biotechnology. As a student, you’ll study life at the cellular and molecular level, from biomolecules to cells and their interactions, and participate in faculty-mentored undergraduate research. This concentration offers students a core of biology, chemistry and mathematics courses, and then lets students focus on courses like microbiology and molecular genetics to further meet their career aspirations.
