Political Studies Concentration

Politics majors with a political studies concentration engage a broad study of politics related to political institutions, processes, histories, cultures and practices both in the United States and abroad. Students with a political studies concentration explore how ideas and decisions have impacted the formation of countries and learn governmental processes for decision making. Faculty encourage students with a political studies concentration to think independently, engage opposing points of view and develop an abiding concern for public life.
