Bible Concentration and Minor

Learn to interpret biblical texts responsibly and to reflect on religious beliefs and practices by majoring in biblical and religious studies. With a Bible concentration or minor, you will examine the Bible’s content and backgrounds while learning various methods of interpretation. Students in the Bible concentration/minor can take Greek or Hebrew to further their understanding of the Bible’s original text and to meet their general education language requirement. By acquiring tools for biblical interpretation, theological reflection and religious understanding, students with a Bible concentration or minor gain insight into their own faith as well as resources for becoming leaders, servants and reconcilers in church and society.
