Congregational Ministries Concentration and Minor

The congregational ministries concentration and minor provides students with an overview of the diverse aspects of congregation-based work. A field experience and practicum are required in addition to coursework in such broad ministry areas as preaching, worship, organization and leadership for ministry, evangelism and pastoral counseling. Students selecting the congregational ministries concentration or minor also acquire competency in biblical and theological reflection and are well prepared for entry-level positions in congregational and para-church ministries.
