Youth Ministries Concentration and Minor

The youth ministries concentration and minor provides students with general orientation to youth work through a combination of coursework and field experience. Specialized courses in youth ministry topics, adolescent development and counseling help students prepare for entry-level positions in congregational and para-church ministries. Students in this concentration also acquire competency in biblical and theological reflection, critical thinking and written and oral communication skills.
