MAT 101 Sample Calendar

(Typical fall semester: Angela Hare's section)

Note: I often do not cover chapters in the order presented in the book - I try and match the most interesting topics to me with the times in the semester when students are most likely to respond well. Different instructors may choose an entirely different order, at their discretion. This calendar simply gives a representative guideline for how long particular topics are covered in class. Page numbers refer to the For All Practical Purposes text, and they may be incorrect as the textbook edition changes.
