Messiah College graduate courses are eligible for Act 48 credit in Pennsylvania

Beginning July 1, 2000, Act 48 of 1999 required individuals holding Pennsylvania professional educator certification to complete continuing education requirements every five years in order to maintain their certificates as active. One option to maintain compliance with this act is to earn six collegiate credits every five calendar years. Messiah College graduate course credits are eligible for Act 48 credit. 

If you wish to receive Act 48 credit for a graduate course you take at Messiah College, you must complete a Request for Act 48 Credit form after completing the course. This form must be completed for each course that is to be submitted for Act 48 credit.  Please submit form to apatton@messiah.edu.
