Accreditation

Experience the academic distinction of an accredited, nationally ranked Christian College

Accreditation is a hallmark of excellence in institutions of higher education. To achieve accreditation, colleges and universities must meet strict quality standards in areas such as academic degree programs, faculty, co-curricular programs, technology, student services and fulfillment of institutional mission. Studying at an accredited institution such as Messiah College also ensures that course credits and degrees that you earn here will be accepted by other colleges and universities that are accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Accreditation

Since 1963, Messiah College has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Higher Education (3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104-2680. Telephone: 267-284-5000). Middle States is the highest accrediting authority recognized by the U.S. Department of Education for degree-granting colleges and universities located in Pennsylvania, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and several other locations internationally.
