How do I access Messiah College job opportunities?
Our newly-posted staff, administrative and faculty job opportunities are now accessed via our online applicant portal, Jobs.messiah.edu. Jobs.messiah.edu provides online, 24/7 access from any location where internet access is available.
Positions open prior to July 29, 2013 will continue to remain outside of the new online applicant portal. To apply for one of these jobs, please visit the Job Opportunities page.To inquire about adjunct faculty positions, please contact the appropriate academic school.

How do I apply for a position at Messiah College?
If you wish to apply for a newly-posted job opening you must do so via the online applicant portal, Jobs.messiah.edu. Specific and detailed instructions for applying for a position are indicated on each posting. An FAQ document is also available to provide additional assistance.
Positions open prior to July 29, 2013 will continue to remain outside of the new online applicant portal. If you wish to apply for one of these positions, please submit all required application materials listed in the ad on the Job Opportunities page. In your letter of interest, please indicate the title of the position for which you are applying. We strongly prefer application materials for administrative and staff positions posted prior to July 29, 2013 to be submitted via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
When do I need to complete a Messiah College application form?
If you are applying for a position using our new online applicant portal, Jobs.messiah.edu, you do not need to submit a separate application as the appropriate application is incorporated into the online application process.
The paper General Employment Application form will no longer be accepted as all administrative and staff positions are now available on the applicant portal.
A Faculty Employment Application form is required upon application for all faculty openings posted prior to July 29, 2013 along with additional application materials listed in the specific ad.
How do I know if my application materials have been received?
We appreciate the time and effort that goes into submitting application materials for positions.
Candidates who apply via the online applicant portal, Jobs.messiah.edu, will receive e-mail notifications upon application submission and upon the job being filled.
When application materials are received for job openings posted prior to July 29, 2013, the candidate will receive an acknowledgement of receipt either via e-mail or letter.
How does the interviewing process work at Messiah?
Staff and administrative candidates selected for an interview will be contacted initially by the Office of Human Resources and Compliance. If the candidate moves beyond the interview with Human Resources, the candidate will be contacted by the Hiring Manager for that position.
For faculty opportunities, candidates selected for an interview will be contacted by the chair of the search committee or the school dean.
