The food at Messiah College
With your meal plan, you’ll have access to Lottie Nelson, a dining hall where you’ll find plenty of make-your-own options, hot and nutritious meals three times a day, carefully selected meals and ingredients for special dietary needs and all the college staples like salad, cereal and ice cream. Plus, Lottie hosts all kinds of special nights—steak and lobster, clam bakes, holiday dinners and free midnight pancakes during finals!
You can also use your Dining Dollars at The Falcon, a restaurant open for breakfast and lunch that’s serves salads, paninis, soups, rice bowls and weekly specials. The Falcon is also a great place to grab coffee and a delicious breakfast like an egg sandwich, steel-cut oatmeal or a bagel before chapel.
Late into the night, the Union Café serves up all kinds of goodies for you and your friends. You might share a pizza there while enjoying a free concert or stop for a smoothie before you head back to your room in the evening.
In between classes you’ll find Café Diem in the library to be a cozy spot to grab a cup of Starbucks coffee or tea and maybe a pastry … just a little snack to help you get through your busy days!
And the South Side Café, open in the evenings and located in the basement of the Mountain View Residence Building, services a variety of ice creams, milkshakes and other refreshments. Since the café is a student planned, owned and operated business that helps fund scholarships, you’ll need cash to get a treat here.
