The Hilton Hotel and Conference Center, which will serve as headquarters for the conference, is in the heart of downtown Harrisburg. Convenient on foot to all performance venues, the Hilton is just one block from the beautiful Susquehanna River and has an array of excellent dining options just outside the front door. With performers from North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, this year's conference features an eclectic mix of Classical, Jazz, Fusion, Latin, and World music. It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the 34th annual ITG conference in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Centrally located to New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, D.C., the Harrisburg area is rich in American history, and easily accessible by air, train, bus, or automobile.
Jazz trumpet artists Jeremy Pelt will be featured twice during the 2009 ITG Conference. He will perform on the Young Guns Jam Session 2:30 PM Saturday May 30th in the Hilton Ballroom. He will also perform later that afternoon with The Jeremy Pelt Quintet in Market Square Church in a concert sponsored by the Central Pennsylvania Friends of Jazz.
