The Library copier room has both coin-operated photocopiers (copies are 10 cents) and those that accept the Messiah College Photo ID card (copies are 5 cents). A VTS machine (Value Transfer Station) is located in the copier room so that users can add cash value to their Photo-ID cards.
One copier has a duplexing feature allowing for two-sided copying.
Computers:
The Library has 16 public search stations (PACs) available for use in the Public Service area on the main floor. In addition, there is one PAC station in the Music Listening Room, and three PACs on the lower level. The 16 PACs in the Public Service area have printing capabilities. Upon entering the library, the PACs to the right are available for public access. Those to the left, in the reference area, are restricted to current students, faculty and staff, and require passwords.
In addition, there is a computer lab on the lower level of the Library, for use by students and employees (i.e., those with network accounts). The lab is available when not being used for instruction sessions, and includes PCs as well as a flatbed scanner.
Printers:
The 16 PACs (Public Access Computers) in the Public Service area are networked and print to one of two laser printers. Users are prompted for their college username and password at the point of printing. IMPORTANT: Printing from all computers is restricted to current students, faculty and staff.
