First Year Students

Library instruction is provided to all first year students as part of their First Year Seminar course. Each seminar is assigned a librarian who, with the instructor, plans library-related assignments and hands-on instruction. Upper Level Instruction

Each librarian serves as a liaison to several academic departments. In this role, in collaboration with faculty members, librarians teach students how to conduct library research in their majors. Faculty members are encouraged to contact their department's liaison librarian to schedule library instruction sessions.
