Messiah College announces final exhibition
of senior art students' best works

GRANTHAM, Pa. (April 15, 2004) —Messiah College will present Senior Show III, an exhibition of senior art students' best works, beginning Tuesday, April 27, continuing through Tuesday, May 4. The Aughinbaugh Art Gallery, located on the lower level of the Climenhaga Fine Arts Center on the college's Grantham campus, will house the exhibition. Admission is free and open to the public.

The exhibit will feature new works, in a wide variety of media, from seven senior art students. This show will include selections by: Lisa Caceres, drawing; Mike Franchina, drawing; Leah Harriger, ceramics/photography; Sharon Lockard, ceramics; Matt Miller, painting; Erin Ruetsch, painting; Jacob Trunk, graphics and technology. The work in each show represents the culmination of four years of artistic study. Each student produces an entirely new body of work specifically for the show.

The gallery is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with extended hours on Friday until 9 p.m., and from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. A reception for the artists will take place on Saturday, May 1, from 7-8 p.m. in the lower level of Climenhaga Fine Arts Center. For more information, call (717) 766-2511, extension 2700.

Messiah College, a private Christian college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences, enrolls more than 2,900 undergraduate students in 60 majors. Established in 1909, the primary campus is located in Grantham, Pa., near the state capital of Harrisburg. A satellite campus affiliated with Temple University is located in Philadelphia.
