Messiah College to host
Bleach and Last Tuesday

GRANTHAM, Pa. (April 15, 2004) —Messiah College will host the band Bleach with special guest Last Tuesday on Wednesday, April 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the new Larsen Student Union building on the college's Grantham campus. Admission is free and open to the public. For additional information contact the ticket office at (717) 766-2511.

The members of Bleach are Miliam Byers, guitar; Sam Barnhardt, guitar and tour manager; Jerry Morrison, bass; Jared Byers, drums; and Davey Baysinger on vocals. The band began performing together at Georgetown University. Most of the members spent considerable time working with young people, and three of them majored in youth ministry at Kentucky Christian College (KCC).

The members of the band Last Tuesday are Steve Gee, Chris Murk and Carl Emmons. Last Tuesday has been around for the past six years and are a full-time touring band. They are finishing up their second full length CD entitled "Distraction and Convictions" and it features 11 new songs.

Messiah College, a private Christian college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences, enrolls more than 2,900 undergraduate students in 60 majors. Established in 1909, the primary campus is located in Grantham, Pa., near the state capital of Harrisburg. A satellite campus affiliated with Temple University is located in Philadelphia.
