Messiah College to host Guster
and Dashboard Confessional

GRANTHAM, Pa. (April 19, 2004) —Messiah College's Student Activities Board will present a weekend of concerts featuring Guster, on Friday, April 30, at 8 p.m. and Dashboard Confessional, on Saturday, May 1, at 8 p.m. Both concerts will be held in Brubaker Auditorium, located in Eisenhower Campus Center on the college's Grantham campus. Tickets cost $20 for each concert. For more information or to purchase tickets, call the Messiah College ticket office at (717) 691-6036.

Guster-Ryan Miller, guitar; Brian Rosenworcel, drums; and Adam Gardner, guitar-will play songs from their fourth album "Keep it Together." The Boston-based trio begin in 1992 when the three met at Tufts University their freshman year. Guster has appeared on the "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" show and played at Woodstock '99 in Rome, N.Y.

Dashboard Confessional is made up of Chris Carrabba on guitar and vocals, Scott Stoenbeck on bass, John Lefler on guitar and Mike Marsh on drums. They will present a concert featuring songs from their third and latest full-length album, "A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar."

Messiah College, a private Christian college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences, enrolls more than 2,900 undergraduate students in 60 majors. Established in 1909, the primary campus is located in Grantham, Pa., near the state capital of Harrisburg. A satellite campus affiliated with Temple University is located in Philadelphia.
