Messiah College to present annual President's Concert

GRANTHAM, Pa. (April 28, 2004) —The Messiah College department of music will present the annual Messiah College President's Concert on Sunday, May 2, at 3 p.m. in Miller Auditorium, located in the Climenhaga Fine Arts Center on the college's Grantham campus. The concert is free and open to the public. For more information, call (717) 766-2511, extension 3310.

The concert will feature the Messiah College Symphonic Winds, Chamber Winds, Brass Choir and Wind Ensemble. The ensembles will perform a variety of works including Vaugh Williams, David Gillingham, Michael Stweart, Fisher Tull and selections from their performances at the Pennsylvania Music Education Association State Convention in Erie, Pa.

Messiah College, a private Christian college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences, enrolls more than 2,900 undergraduate students in 60 majors. Established in 1909, the primary campus is located in Grantham, Pa., near the state capital of Harrisburg. A satellite campus affiliated with Temple University is located in Philadelphia.
