GRANTHAM, Pa. (September 14, 2004) — Messiah College ’s Student Activity Board will present a concert featuring the Lancaster-based group The Innocence Mission on Saturday, Sept. 25, at 8 p.m. in the Eisenhower Campus Center , located on the college’s Grantham campus. Tickets cost $8 and doors open at 7 p.m. For more information or to purchase tickets, call the Messiah College ticket office at (717) 691-6036.

Compared to groups such as 10,000 Maniacs and singer Joni Mitchell, this folk-pop trio is headed by lead singer Karen Peris and also includes her husband Don Peris on guitar and Mike Bitts on bass. Messiah College , a private Christian college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences, enrolls more than 2,900 undergraduate students in 60 majors.
