Messiah College to present student honors recital

GRANTHAM, Pa. (September 24, 2004) — Stephanie Slaybaugh will perform a student clarinet recital on Friday, Oct. 15, at 8 p.m. in Poorman Recital Hall, located in Climenhaga Fine Arts Center on the college’s Grantham campus. The recitals are free and open to the public. For more information, call (717) 766-2511 , extension 3310.

Slaybaugh, a native of Gardners , PA , is a senior music education honors student. Her program will consist of works from Robert Schumann, Leonard Bernstein, Carl Maria von Weber and Camille Saint-Saens. Slaybaugh will be accompanied by Rebecca Wilt on piano.

Messiah College , a private Christian college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences, enrolls more than 2,900 undergraduate students in 60 majors. Established in 1909, the primary campus is located in Grantham , Pa. , near the state capital of Harrisburg . A satellite campus affiliated with Temple University is located in Philadelphia .
