Messiah College presents student voice recital

GRANTHAM, Pa. (October 15, 2004) — Messiah College student Jane Pape will perform a soprano voice recital on Sunday, Nov. 7, at 4 p.m. in Poorman Recital Hall, located in Climenhaga Fine Arts Center on the college’s Grantham campus. The recital is free and open to the public. For additional information, call (717) 766-2511, ext. 3310.

Pape is a senior music education major from Pitman, NJ. Her recital will include songs by Franz Schubert, Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, Johannes Brahms, Henry Purcell and Sebastian Bach. Pape will be accompanied on piano by Carolyn Gabriele and assisted by Katie Hess.

Messiah College , a private Christian college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences, enrolls more than 2,900 undergraduate students in 50 majors. Established in 1909, the primary campus is located in Grantham , Pa. , near the state capital of Harrisburg . A satellite campus affiliated with Temple University is located in Philadelphia .
