Suzanne C. Miller Messiah College to present student recital GRANTHAM, Pa. (Oct. 29, 2004) — Messiah College students, Karah Sirinides and Gareth Schuth will present a joint student recital on Saturday, Nov. 20, at 4 p.m. in Poorman Recital Hall, located in Climenhaga Fine Arts Center on the college’s Grantham campus. The recital is free and open to the public. For more information, call (717) 766-2511, ext. 3310. Sirinides, a native of Melrose Park, is a senior music education major. She will be performing her recital on the piano. Sirinides will present selections by classical, romantic and 20th century composers, including Robert Schumann’s “Fantasy Pieces.” Schuth, a senior music education major, resides in Hilton, N.Y. He will be performing a range of standard repertoire on B flat, E flat and piccolo trumpets. His selections feature Eric Ewazen’s newest work, “Prayer and Praise.” Messiah College , a private Christian college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences, enrolls more than 2,900 undergraduate students in 50 majors. Established in 1909, the primary campus is located in Grantham, Pa., near the state capital of Harrisburg. A satellite campus affiliated with Temple University is located in Philadelphia.
