GRANTHAM, Pa. (Oct. 6, 2005) — Messiah College will host an open house for all majors on Oct. 29. The open house provides all prospective students and parents with the opportunity to visit the campus and interact with faculty and staff members. Students may register at www.messiah.edu or call 1-800-233-4200. For more information, contact Paul Morgan, director of visitation and church relations, at 717-691-6000, extension 2240 or Bryanna Boone, assistant director of transfer student recruitment, at 717-691-6000, extension 7276. Open house guests should check-in at the welcome tables in the main lobby of the Eisenhower Campus Center. The opening welcome will begin at 9 a.m. in Brubaker Auditorium, also located in the Eisenhower Campus Center. Lunch will be provided for free to registered guests. Campus tours and information sessions highlighting academic programs and financial aid will also be offered, in addition to several special sessions designed to answer questions from prospective transfer students. Messiah College, a private Christian college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences, enrolls more than 2,900 undergraduate students in 60 majors. Established in 1909, the primary campus is located in Grantham, Pa., near the state capital of Harrisburg.
