CONTACT: Beth L. Lorow Student and faculty research featured at School of Health and Natural Sciences Scholarship Symposium at Messiah College GRANTHAM, Pa. (March 28, 2006) — The School of Health and Natural Sciences at Messiah College will host a Scholarship Symposium on April 21 in Hollinger Atrium in the Jordan Science Center, located on the college’s Grantham campus. The symposium is free and open to the public. Registration will begin at 12 p.m., and the program will begin at 1 p.m. For more information, or if you plan on attending the event, contact Deb Poplaski at (717) 796-5067. The symposium will feature presentations on student and faculty research, international course travelogues, demonstrations and program initiatives from the departments of biological sciences, chemistry and biochemistry, health and human performance, nursing, and nutrition and dietetics. The public is invited to engage students and faculty in conversation about their research and scholarship. Messiah College, a private Christian college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences, enrolls more than 2,900 undergraduate students in 50 majors. Established in 1909, the primary campus is located in Grantham, Pa., near the state capital of Harrisburg.
