CONTACT: Beth L. Lorow An evening of jazz with Messiah College Jazz Combos GRANTHAM, Pa. (Oct. 17, 2006) — The Messiah College Jazz Combos will present an evening of jazz music on Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. in Poorman Recital Hall in the Climenhaga Fine Arts Center on the college’s Grantham campus. The concert is free and open to the public. Directed by Kirk Reese, jazz pianist and professor of music at Messiah College, the combos will perform selections from various styles of music, ranging from swing to Latin, ballads to funk/fusion. Light refreshments will be served. Messiah College, a private Christian college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences, enrolls more than 2,800 undergraduate students in 50 majors. Established in 1909, the primary campus is located in Grantham, Pa., near the state capital of Harrisburg.
