CONTACT: Beth L. Lorow Actors' Showcase features senior theatre students at Messiah College GRANTHAM, Pa. (Nov. 16, 2006) — Messiah College theatre department students Megan Thibodeaux and Ryan Reid will perform a bouquet of audition monologues and songs on Dec. 7-9. This performance, the senior project for theatre majors, is at 8 p.m. each night in Miller Auditorium in the Climenhaga Fine Arts building on the college’s Grantham campus. All are welcome to attend; no tickets are necessary. Both actors will present their selections during each night of the showcase. The project is student-directed but advised by Valerie Rae Smith, theatre department chair and director of the college’s recent rendition of “Romeo and Juliet.” In the spring of 2007, theatre productions include the musical “Urinetown,” showing Feb. 8-10 and 15-17; student-directed “Keely and Du,” from March 29-31; and “Inherit the Wind,” playing April 19-21 and 26-28. All performances will be held in Miller Auditorium. Ticket information and reservations can be obtained by calling the college’s ticket office at (717) 691-6036.
