The Messiah Community Mourns with Virginia Tech in Wake of Shootings
Prayers and remembrances have been offered for those affected by the tragedy on the Virginia Tech campus earlier this week during Messiah's chapel services and at a special prayer vigil. May we all continue to uphold the Virginia Tech community at this time with our prayers and acts of support.
Kathie Shafer, vice president for operations, reports that conversations have already begun on campus with her staff, our safety officers and residence life staff to review Messiah's detailed crisis plan. Messiah's current emergency response plan is available online.
