2005 Recipients
David '46 and Florence (Sisco '46) Carlson

For more than 40 years, David 46 and Florence (Sisco) 46 Carlson have been serving God through Trans World Radio (TWR), the most far-reaching Christian radio network in the world. They first joined TWR in Monte Carlo, Monaco, in 1962, where David served as assistant to the president and Florence as secretary and mission hostess.

Of their 40 years of service, the Carlsons have spent 20 in Monte Carlo and three in South Africa and Swaziland. In 1986 the family returned to the U.S., where David became a TWR field representative in the Midwest, the East Coast, and the Southeast, his current representative region. The Carlsons continue to serve nearly full-time for TWR’s church relations work in South Africa, touching people across the globe.
