FOR ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF
ALUMNI & PARENT RELATIONS POSITION
The May 15 deadline is approaching for applications for the position. The assistant director is primarily responsible for planning key on-campus alumni events (Homecoming & Spring Reunion Day), working with anniversary reunion classes, and coordinating student activities. A seven member search committee has begun reviewing resumes and will begin to interview candidates soon. Our goal is to have the position filled by July 1.

DESSERT SOCIAL & CONCERT
The Messiah Singers, a select 20 voice choral ensemble, will present a concert at Clinton Frame Mennonite Church, Goshen, IN. on Wednesday, May 21, 2003. The free dessert social begins at 7 p.m. and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Please RSVP to Dr. Donald ’47 and Mrs. Marty Minter at (574) 533-7958. The public is invited.

PICNIC AND RIVERSHARKS GAME
Join Greater Philadelphia area alumni on Friday, May 30, for family fun at a tailgate picnic and Camden Riversharks vs. the Pennsylvania Warriors baseball game at Campbell’s Field, Camden, NJ. (Named "Ballpark of the Year" in 2002). Cost is $9 per person and covers food and admission ticket. Alumni, parents, friends & students are invited to a catered summer picnic and concert by New Light, Messiah’s summer music ministry team, on Saturday, June 28, 2003 (11 a.m. - 4 p.m.) Location is Drs. Glenn ’86 & Barbara Focht Home, Grafton, MA. Swimming, volleyball, and children’s activities available. Cost: $10/person; $5/student. Limited to first 100 registrants. * RECORD-BREAKING PHONATHON
Karin (Snyder ‘98) Bisbee, Director of Annual Giving, announces that this year's Phonathon raised over $235,100 in gifts and pledges - making it the most successful calling campaign on record. Under the direction of Jenn Swift '01, Assistant Director of Annual Giving, this year's callers secured 3,857 pledges and completed nearly 12,000 calls! Thanks to the generosity of our alumni, parents, and friends, the Phonathon program at Messiah College continues to flourish. Thank you to everyone who made a gift through Phonathon - we look forward to talking with you again soon!
