Fall 2010 Enrollment
The launch of the new academic year is particularly exciting for Messiah College this fall because we have exceeded ALL of our enrollment goals—not just for first year students—but also for transfer students, College Honors students, international students, and students from underrepresented racial and ethnic populations! This successful recruiting season has launched Messiah into the new academic year with a total undergraduate headcount of 2,808 students—51 more students than our projected goal.
Enrollment in our three existing graduate programs also continues to increase at an encouraging rate. After just one year, these programs combined put Messiah’s total graduate headcount at 124 students, and will likely exceed 150 students by the end of the academic year.
With undergraduate and graduate students combined—Messiah is beginning the new academic year with a total headcount of 2,932 students. This is certainly good news for the Messiah community, and, especially in light of our nation’s continuing economic challenges, we are encouraged by the number of students and their families who recognize the value of a Messiah College education that sharpens intellect, deepens Christian faith and inspires action.
Falcon Athletic Network
Well over 100 golfers enjoyed gorgeous weather and a chance to start something special Monday at Blue Ridge Country Club in Harrisburg, as the Falcon Athletic Network officially kicked off with the first annual F.A.N. Golf Outing.
The Falcon Athletic Network is designed to promote enthusiasm and financial support for Messiah’s sports programs. F.A.N. promises to be the best way to stay connected to Falcons’ athletics, no matter who or where you are. Please visit F.A.N. for more information and to become a member.
Welcome Day Volunteers

Seventeen alumni and members of their families came back to campus on Welcome Day, August 26, to celebrate the new generation of Messiah college students. The Alumni volunteers worked tirelessly to help these students move their belongings into Hess, Naugle, and Witmer residence halls. A big thank you to all of the folks who gave of their time to help out these future alumni.
