I live in Ridley Park , PA, which is just outside Philadelphia . After working in the psych, medi-surg and oncology areas, I went back to school and received my Master’s in Adult Oncology from the University of Pennsylvania in 1994.

Since then I married my husband Chris and had a son, Jared, who is now five years old. Before I had Jared, I transitioned into the educational aspect of nursing, then back to hospital work the first few years after his birth. Currently, I work per diem as a nurse educator for Kaplan, helping graduate nurses prepare to successfully pass the exam to become RNs.

God has been using my husband and me as we have been very active members within the Christian community in our area. I am currently a member of the missions committee at Woodlyn Baptist Church and also a Board member at our local crisis pregnancy center.
