One-on-One Career Coaching
Career coaches work with you to achieve your goals in the following areas: identifying strengths and interest areas, exploring majors and career options, gaining practical experience, developing professional competencies (i.e. resumes, interviewing, networking, etc.) and transitioning to employment or graduate school. Contact the Career Center to schedule an appointment.
Drop-in Hours
No appointment needed!! Career Coaches are available during drop-in hours to meet with you about your resume or cover letter, or to answer any quick questions you may have about your career development process. Contact the Career Center for this semester's schedule for drop-in hours.
Assessment Inventories
We offer a variety of assessment inventories to help you determine your interests, abilities, and personality preferences. Begin by creating an account on FOCUS through the Career Center website to access these inventories.
Major and Career Exploration
Find information about academic majors and career opportunities that fit your strengths and interest areas. Explore our “What can I do with a major in…?” sheets and department-specific brochures, as well as resources in our library and on our website.
Events and Programs
Each year the Career Center sponsors a variety of career-related programs. Watch for information about our annual Career and Graduate School Expo, career-related workshops, and other locally-sponsored job fairs.
Graduate and Professional School Preparation
If you’re considering graduate-level programs, services include one-on-one advising, Graduate School Practice Test Drives, library resources, and an annual graduate school fair.
