| Special Qualifications: |
This person should be technically proficient in the use of tools and basic forms of technical equipment, as well as a capability for remembering technical processes and information. This person should have a basic understanding of the fundamentals of sound and lighting operation, and be able to hear and know how to deal with distortion and feedback. This person should be very flexible, able to take direction well, and be willing to learn. This person should also be able to interface well with people under pressure. This person should be independent, self motivated, have an ability to think for themselves, and possess common sense. |
| Experience Required: |
At least 1 year of prior sound experience. Engineering and Theatre majors are preferred. |

| Physical Requirements: |
Must be able to perform physical labor and lift 50 pounds or more when required. This includes transporting heavy sound equipment. |

| Primary Duties: |
- Setup, operation, and troubleshooting of various lighting, sound, and video equipment for SAB activities/events, conferences, camps, and college functions such as chapels, lyceums, and meetings.Transportation of sound, video, and other conference services equipment around campus.Monitoring of equipment in use, as needed.Organization and preparation of all technical equipment and needs for conferences, camps, and functions, as well as the upcoming school year.Checking in and out of equipment, updating of inventory, and organization of multiple storage facilities.Repair and maintenance of equipment as needed.Handling of all technical issues whenever the Technical Coordinator is not available or on campus.
- Assisting the Technical Coordinator whenever required.
