Ernie is the Sound and Lighting Technician responsible for all sound, lighting, stage and audio visual technical requirements for all events on campus, including, but not limited to, chapel, theatre productions, student activities, concerts, lyceums, cultural series, and conferences.

Ernie received continuing education at Harrisburg Area Community College and Marietta Recording Studio in electronics, photography and studio engineering.

Prior to joining Messiah, Ernie's work experience included: Satellite Systems Installer and Services Technician at Broadband Services; 25 years at AMP, Inc./Tyco Electronics; radio announcer at WFEC and WWII 720 THE ROCK; Sound and Video Technician at Christ Community Church of Camp Hill, PA. Ernie is also the sole proprietor of E.T. Productions, an audio/video and recording studio service.

Ernie resides in Harrisburg and currently worships at The Greater Zion Baptist Church, where he is a member of the choir and praise team. Additional interests include: gardening and landscaping, interior decorating, home improvements, radio control planes, Singing, Studio Recording, Photography and videography, voice instructor, and art.

Ernie is also the director of the Messiah College's United Voices of Praise Gospel Choir.
