Meet the Callers

Each semester, a group of approximately 30 students gather in Old Main to call our alumni, parents, and friends in order to secure their support of the College. Please take a few minutes to read about our callers and say “hello” when they call.

I chose Messiah College because…I knew I wanted a Christian college and when I visited here I loved the atmosphere and all of the people I met. The academics are amazing and the integration of faith is really awesome to me.

One of the most memorable experiences that I have had at Messiah… is a J-term biology class I took in Florida last year. We hiked and tented through the everglades and learned about the different animal and plant life there. Then we went all the way to the keys where we snorkeled and canoed. It was awesome..

I believe that giving to Messiah is important

because … Messiah is a great school and offers opportunities to students that are amazing but unfortunately not all students can afford to come to Messiah. This is where we can come in and help. I know personally that if it weren’t for scholarships and financial aid and others giving, I would not be able to have the amazing experiences I have had because I could not have gone here.

The most rewarding thing about being a phonathon caller is… I really enjoy talking with alumni about their experiences here and also about how their education played out after college. The personal connections I have made are really awesome.
